Term 3 Week 7

Thursday

It was our very first rehearsals for our LIt play, Romeo and Juliet. I must say it was a wee bit of success. We assembled @ the NCDCC Corner to rehease. As Mr Chua was briefing us on what to do, he also said that Wardrobe /Costume personals had to give feedback on the actors' performance. As we began to settle down in our groups, the main actors began to act out their scenes. As I watched, I took down the pros and cons of their acting and how they could improve on it. After that the director from our group asked about our comments & feedbacks and the actors took it seriously and improved little by little. As we were doing the second round of acting, Mr Chua asked us to wrap it up and gather back. He then discussed with us various things and answered questions that were asked. After that, we were told that we will have our next rehearsals next Thursday. So until then!

Term 3 Week 7

Monday
As you guys know, Monday was Singapore's 45th birthday, happy birthday! Another 5 years time, Singapore will be 50 years old! I'm going to share about NDP. Everyone in Singapore(except for me) headed down to the Padand to catch the parade. Unfortunately for me, I didn't get to ): But its okay I got to watch it on TV so. I think the uniformed groups looked very smart in the
ir attire and the way they held themselves throughout the ceremony was well done. I saw that everyone watching the parade never failed to wear something red or white even the little ones were eager to wave their flags high with smiles. As the parade in the daylight started to end, the highlighting performnaces began. And proud to say, that EVG was involved in the Human LCD/One Voice Choir. Go EVGians! They performed tremendously and after months of hard work this paid off for them. Other highlights were of course the colourful fireworks which is probably what many people came to watch. And then we had our theme song, "Song for Singapore" performed by Corrine May. She has quite a music background from the States too. Overall, the NDP 2010 was great and hope you enjoyed it too! :D

Term 3 Week 6

Monday

On Monday, we had our lessons as per normal. This was the week that Mr Chua would be assessing our learning logs apparently. But first we got back our AYLT Worksheet, the second one. I wold I scored much better this time round and I am happy about it^^ We went through the various answers for the questions that we had gotten wrong for. Then after, our assessment on the logs were given out. I saw that mu=y name had been highlighted in blue. And I soon got to know that it was because I had not written down, the Term/Week information for each posts. So I will try not not to make that mistakes and have ammended them already :) So, I have learned what I have to do but some of us still did not updtate their blogs unfortunately to Mr Chua's disappointment. Keep working guys!

Thursday

So I was absent for this day and I've learnt that the class finished the 'The Mighty Mandrin' play. I did a little homeowrk on it to find out more about it. I found the play very interesting and more of a folk kind which I like to read most. I got a copy of the worksheet-homeowrk from Zaimah and have colpeted it. I shall wait for the next exciting lesson of Lit where we would be rehearsing for the very first time in public! ~
